As most crafters/sewers/crocheters all can understand… I have quite a few “Work In Progress” projects. I am hoping to finish a couple this week, so here is a sneak peek at a couple…
I have been collecting scraps of fabrics for literally ten years. I have a couple bags full of these scraps! I saw in an old magazine clipping an example of a “Only On Sunday” quilt that uses this square and thought it may be a great use for my scraps! The larger pieces can be the bigger squares and the smaller pieces can be used for the little squares.
Each square is made up of a 4″ x 4″ center square with four 2″ x 4″ and four 2″ x 2″ squares.
I have done more squares than are in that picture… and am hoping to have the quilt top sewn together by this weekend. It may not be the most beautiful quilt ever made, but it’s a fun way to use up scraps!
My other WIP that I’m hoping to finish this week is another daisy afghan. It’s almost done!!
