Today is my last day for my personal Health Quest Boot Camp. Tomorrow I will begin posting like regular again.
So what have I learned from this?
I surprised myself in that I actually enjoyed this! I have rekindled my love of walking (still working on the whole “running” idea). I have actually begun looking forward to walking for an hour every morning. Didn’t see that coming.
I am still struggling with my diet. I just really love things like milkshakes and fettuccini alfredo. However, even though I messed up a couple of times, I have been doing really pretty well and think I can probably keep this up for the most part… while allowing myself to cheat sometimes.
No matter how much I do them, certain exercises like planks, crunches, and weight lifting are just not my faves. I am going to continue to try to make myself do them at least a couple times a week, and am going to try to keep up with my yoga, but… this is going to be the area I am most happy about not doing once the Boot Camp is done. And that’s not a good thing.
I did lose 3lbs last week, which I am super happy about. I feel stronger. I feel healthier and happier. I can tell that this has made a positive difference in my life.
Hoping I can keep up at least the walking and eating better!
